Return & Cancellation Policy

Our Mission

At Self Defense Keychains (SDK), our mission is to ensure complete satisfaction with every purchase. If you are dissatisfied or no longer want your order, you can return it within 60 days of the purchase date. We aim to process all returns within 1–2 business days upon receipt. To request an order cancellation or Return Authorization (RA), email tkdefense@gmail.com or call (334) 718-1470. SDK reserves the right to charge a restocking fee or reject a return or cancellation request for failure to meet these conditions.

General Conditions

• Return Authorization: All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number, obtainable by emailing tkdefense@gmail.com or calling (334) 718-1470.
• Order Cancellations: You may cancel an order up until a shipping label is created. Orders containing items shipped directly from a distributor cannot be canceled once in progress.
• Compatibility & Fitment: Product compatibility and fitment are the responsibility of the customer.
• Missing or Damaged Shipments: Claims for missing items, missing packages, or damaged packages must be made within 2 business days of the tracking status showing "delivered."
• Exchanges: Exchanges cannot be performed for items not included in the original order.
• Apparel: Clothing or wearable gear must be in new, unworn, and unwashed condition with original tags attached.

Return Guidelines & Safety Restrictions

• Eligible Items: Unused and unaltered products in original packaging with all accompanying manuals, instructions, and accessories may be returned within 60 days of purchase.
• Processing Options: Approved returns may be refunded, exchanged, or issued as store credit.
• Open/Tested Items: Products removed from packaging, with broken seals, or showing signs of testing/use are subject to a 20% restocking fee or rejection at our discretion.
• Defective Items: Returned items reported as defective are inspected and tested upon receipt. If an item is found to be fully functional, it will incur a 20% restocking fee and a $6.95 return label fee.
• Safety Restrictions: Due to safety, hazardous material, and legal restrictions, opened or deployed defensive sprays (such as pepper spray) and activated stun devices cannot be returned.
• Warranty Claims: Contact the product manufacturer regarding warranty issues outside our return window, or reach out to us for assistance.

Refunds & Credits

• Processing Time: Refunds typically post within 2–5 business days, depending on your financial institution.
• Payment Method: Refunds must be issued to the original credit card used for the order. If the card is deactivated, store credit will be issued instead.
• Unavailable Exchanges: If an exchange item is unavailable, a refund will be credited to the original payment method.

Restocking & Service Fees

• High-Value Returns: Refunds exceeding $800 are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
• Undelivered Shipments: Refused, undelivered, or abandoned packages incur a 20% service fee.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs fall upon the customer. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method, as SDK is not liable for lost return shipments.
